American politics is rife with anti-intellectual sentiments
Does anyone else sense a tendency toward the anti-intellectual in the speeches George has made?

Was the 2004 election in part affected by an anti-intellectual reaction to the Democratic candidate, a man well known as an independent thinker.

Is the folksy, down-home personna cultivated by George W Bush really just an affectation, or is he in fact a blithering idiot?
